An Italian Christmas filled with magical performances and exciting surprises awaits at the country’s most romantic mall as Venice Grand Canal brings its first-ever Parata di Natale or Grand Venetian Christmas Parade.
Running on December 4, 11, 18 and on Christmas Day, Parata di Natale will give families, kids and kids at heart the chance to experience an Italian Christmas with Venetian sights and sounds ready to make them feel like they are actually in Italy while celebrating the most wonderful time of the year.
The must-see spectacle will have three runs per day at 4 PM, 6 PM, and 8 PM, and will feature a handful of cosplayers and models in colorful Venetian costumes, musicians and drummers in Medieval outfits, acrobats, performers and more.
Highlighting the grand parade is a magical performance from the Gondolier choir, who will be performing Christmas songs and carols at the mall’s man-made Grand Canal.
Another performance to watch out for is the Venetian Concerto, where two performers dressed in Venetian costumes perform a mini-opera near the mall’s iconic Ponte de Amore Bridge.
Making the experience even more magical is a grand fireworks display that will light up the sky every weekend at 7 PM.
Aside from the grand parade, more exciting surprises and musical showcases await guests at Venice Grand Canal with Broadway star Rachel Ann Go performing live on December 23 at the Venice Piazza. Parents can also scour for toys and other fun gift items for their kids at the Toy Town Fair at the Venice Grand Canal from December 1 – 31.
