October Christmas: Salado event to highlight local merchants’ merchandise

Christmas is coming, and one place to watch the latest Christmas decorations and styles is the Sarado Chamber of Commerce ladies’ Christmas event in October.

Christmas in October is a tradition of Salado, scheduled for the second weekend of October each year. This year’s event will be held from 9 am to 5 pm. Friday and Saturday at the venue of College Street. The entrance fee is USD 3 per adult.

The annual event is a preview of Christmas and will showcase the products of local and regional merchants in the beautiful setting of The Venue.

Every year, suppliers display holiday decorations, jewelry, clothing, food and specialty home decorations. Shoppers will experience the village’s attractions, sounds, smells, tastes and charms.

“The October 2018 Christmas Commitment will offer a range of exciting local and regional businesses. The ladies’ support team enjoys Christmas during the Christmas season in October, as the facility is a great place to host annual fundraising events,” Tommye Prater, co-chairman of the October Christmas, said at a news conference.

“Every vendor and shopper like to come back every year,” added Christmas co-chairman Maurine Nathanson in October.

 

The Christmas baking promotion in October is a special tradition that many people look forward to every year. Customers have the opportunity to stroll through the booth area and the baking sales area within the same facility. Most importantly, participants will have the opportunity to buy homemade pies, cakes, cookies and desserts.

The fashion show where the models walked on the stand will showcase the fall fashion of local boutiques and foreign businessmen. The model’s “walk time” will be two days in the morning and afternoon.

Representatives of the Salado Community Choir will be offering Christmas carols at 10 am on Saturday.

“We are always looking forward to the entertainment shoppers of the Sarato Community Choir, while the fashion show shows the wonderful autumn fashion,” said Deborah Roberson, Co-Chair of October Christmas.

“October’s Christmas is the best place to start thinking about Christmas holidays and decorations,” Pratt said. “We welcome everyone to experience Christmas in October.”

Ms. Salado is dedicated to promoting, enhancing and promoting the activities and activities of the Sarato community. Christmas in October is one of the activities in which the money earned is returned to community organizations such as Salado Volunteer Fire Department, Salado Family Relief, Salado Community Choir, AWARE Central Texas, Salado Volunteers and Christ dentist clinic. Funds are also used to provide local high school students with annual scholarships for them to attend college or technical schools.
