If you are a person who wants Christmas all year round (cough), you will be happy to know that there is a place where you can be fooled at any time of the year. Located in Tennessee, Inn at Christmas Place is the place to experience all the charm of a holiday.
Located at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, the Santa Plaza Hotel offers its guests a lot of fun no matter which month. There is always a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, the carillon in the lobby plays Christmas carols, every room has a wreath, and even since the hotel opened in 2007, the guest has been singing Santa.
He also tells stories in the lobby on certain days, because whoever reads the Christmas story better than the adults themselves.
The resort is located at 119 Christmas Tree Lane and their phone number is 1-888-HOLY-NIGHT, as of course it is. When you are there, take a dip in their indoor pool and hot tub (decorated with garlands and Christmas lights) or use their business center and gym, which look like an elf exploding inside them.
For those who really want to blend in, the hotel offers Santa Claus suites with amenities including a private balcony with courtyard views, more Christmas decorations, a place to tame reindeer, a double whirlpool, fireplace and a full decor Christmas tree.
Obviously, they will also send a special gift between Santa’s company and the night, which makes me find it very exciting.
The hotel hosts several events throughout the year, including Christmas in July, which sounds like the Mountain Fest at the end of September, where guests can participate in soap making, applesauce making, storytelling, mountain music and dancing, and hands-on fabrics.
If it’s not enough to make you excited about the holidays, they have a few special packages to attract guests, including Dolly Parton’s Stampede package, which includes dinner and Dixie Stampede tickets – because we all know that this is not true Christmas. Until Dolly Parton participated.
This is the perfect place to enjoy Christmas without having to buy gifts, entertaining a family or cooking a big meal. Also, if someone has placed her Christmas sheets on the bed, please forgive me for booking for the next 40 years.
